Business Development Manager

We’re looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to grow our client base within Mainland China.

We are an Amazon growth agency helping brands sell on Amazon and global marketplaces. We work with some of the world’s most recognised brands across all sectors including electronics, health & wellbeing, toys, FMCG, home and garden – and our ambition is to become a global leader in our sector.

We have a successful track record of growing e-commerce sales for companies of all sizes from start-ups to multinationals, including Mainland Chinese companies. We are young, dynamic and fast paced with offices situated within Europe and Asia Pacific.

Who you are

Working with our UK operations centre you will understand our constantly evolving service proposition and actively sell that service to new and existing clients. The main focus will be finding new clients for our business through existing networks and by generating new leads. Networking with other service providers and third parties you will set up referral programmes to grow the business and close the deals that originate from these programmes. You will use LinkedIn, trade shows and other media to find existing and potential e-commerce sellers and develop sales programmes to convert these into clients.

Frequent travel to client sites within Mainland China is needed.

Ideally you have a passion for e-commerce and get excited by converting leads into clients.

Occasional travel to Mainland China may be required.

Skills and desired experience
  • Proven track record of growing a client base within an agency environment
  • E-commerce agency experience is preferred
  • Confident dealing directly with clients and presenting to audiences
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English
  • A positive, solutions-focused approach to work life
